This weekend we made a small trip to London to see the not so small Shard.
There were some great 360 degree views and was beautiful to see London city completely lit up at night time. I have to say, you don't feel that high up when you compare going up the Rockefeller building or Eiffel tower, however you truly won't find any other view in London like this.
I highly recommend getting tickets either for the evening or during the day in the late summer (it will be lovely to go to the open plan bit when its hot on the 72nd floor and they have developed their bars/restaurants).
