So on Thursday night, my sister invited me to the last day of the Clerkenwell Design Week 2014. A week full of lead designers, architects, furniture, product design and lighting on show. Oh, and did I mention there was free booze all night? (She had me at booze). Before we delved into the procesco, I also had the time to appreciate the design factory at the Farmiloe Building. Showcasing the most exciting home-grown designer makers, which hosted a great contemporary feel to it all.
The design stores themselves hosted a rather nice celebration. With free hot dog stands, mixologists creating earl grey cocktails (super nice) and a oompa lumpa band - whilst gazing through the products ofcourse. It got to the point, where they were handing bottles of procescos at the end of the night at Poltrona Frau. A pretty fun night, and a somewhat even more fun week for my sister who attended it every evening. I definitely will look forward to attending it next year.
