We Heart Arts

We Heart Arts is an organization which I recently discovered while working for Velvet Flair and I truly think that if you are creative or simply enjoy creativity to have a look at their work and support it.

We Heart Arts is a non-profit organization that works to raise funds for young person's creative arts programs around the world. They try to build a creative future for young people via the goodwill of humanity and through creative means. The goals of We Heart Arts are rooted in the belief that young people should be given the opportunity to express themselves creatively from an early age.

What they believe

  1. Creative arts teaches young people the value of lifelong active personal expressionism.
  2. Creative arts teaches young people to question the world they live in.
  3. Creative arts teaches young people that thinking outside of the box is an important mental function in life.
  4. Creative arts teaches young people to engage in a social network of proactive young people invested in a community built on meaningful, sustained ideas and expressionism.
  5. Creative arts opens up a world of opportunities for young people to grow and help others through arts therapy.
  6. Creative arts can open up an avenue of communication for young people with learning difficulties.
  7. Creative arts can help young people process and work through traumatic experiences.
  8. Creative arts can provide peer interaction and a sense of community, independence and feelings of control.

    What They Do

We Heart Arts raise funds to help out childrens creative arts programs by putting on shows, putting out charity singles and compilations, selling limited run tee shirts, auctioning signed music and art merchandise and much much more.

Its a great organisation supporting the idea of getting kids to be creative. Velvet Flair fully supports this foundation and if you agree with it please spread the word of such a great cause or add them on facebook. They are only a small organisation with big dreams.
